Hey guys! On the trip I learned lots of valuable lessons but I would have to say the mot valuable lesson I learned on the trip was not to join the same competition as your friends unless you work well with your friends.
The reason that you should not join the same group as your friends is because you and your friends might mess around and not get as much work as you should get done.
Another reason why you should not join the same group with your friends is because you might break up into parts I noticed that in the competitions because in the competitions people started to break up into their own groups. Like friends started to stick with their friends and only share ideas through just their groups of friends.
On this trip not only did I learn some valuable lessons on the trip I learned some a lot about my self along the way. one thing I learned about myself o the trip was that I have a lot more things in common with my CKTV media friends than I thought. Another thing that I learned about myself was that I want to continue in the CKTV Media Productions Class. Before we went on this trip I was having second thoughts about re-joining media, but I sent in my form just incase. Since I went on the trip with the media class to Florida I realized how much this class treats each other like one big family, and how much they look out for each other, and I want to be a part of something like that. When I joined the media class I was shy, and didn't talk to very many people because I didn't want to stand out, but now that I have gone through the year in the media class I realize that not only has the media class taught me a lot about cameras and computers, it has taught me a lot about myself.
Now that you know my experiences on the trip to Florida I hope you take that into though for all of you up and coming media students. Sometimes we get into fights in the media class but we still treat each other like family, and we take care of each other. I cant wait to see all of the new faces in the media class next year. Good luck to all of the new students, wish me luck teaching one of you new students next year. See ya!
Being with friends on a team is hard. On one hand you want to be with people you like and are friends with, but on the other that's usually when the mischief happens and things don't get done. Being able to focus on the task is something that I think all teams need to work on.
