Hey guy! It's already the end of the second quarter, and after the break third quarter starts. I'm really worried about the third quarter because we are on our own. This third quarter we are doing our own PSA (public service announcement). Are partners will still be able to help us but not as much because they will have their own projects to work on. I'm really worried that I won't have mine done on time or that ill be totally lost and behind schedule. This upcoming quarter will be lots of work, and I know the quarter and time to finish the PSA will fly by fast. I'm so stressed. Wish me luck on this next quarter. See ya!
Hey guys! It's that time again...the week before the quarter ends, and I'm super stressed. The more I worry about the deadlines the closer they get. This quarter me and my partner are doing our project on the Community Garden, and Food Forest. But so many things have been happening this quarter, and we have been working so hard. We have filmed Stand Ups, Voice Overs, B-roll, and so much more, not to mention do our first radios. Even if we did all of that we are still not done.
We have done so much this quarter and we are still working. We just finished filming stand ups this week. It took a few try's but we finally got them filmed. It was really easy to remember the words, but it was not as easy to find a place to film. We had to watch out for so many things wrong with the places we wanted to film. There was the pikock effect, and the bad lighting, to much noise, and to much people. But when we where about to use the first standup that had a little bit of the picock effect then we found the perfect spot on the field. This week we did so much. Other than stand ups we have done vocie overs. Voice overs where hard for me because I had to try again, and again, and again. One of the voice overs didn't sound right so we had to find a way to reword the VO. Once we finally got the Voice Overs recorded we where able to edit them, and we even had time to edit the stand ups as well. Voice Overs are the things we say as B-roll, or videos play explaining the parts if the video. In our voice overs the groups try to add word play, and other clever things to explain the video. We did stand ups, Voice Overs, and edited the B-roil and interviews. I tried to learn as much as I can about editing, lower thirds, and audio, because next quarter I'm on my own. We still have to finish up the last things to the editing, and making sure there is no gaps, or editing mistakes. My partner took the laptop home to finish up the project. I am so worried because the deadline is this week. So even if we did a lot, we still have lots more to do this is not the end. But we have finished, editing, stand ups, and voice overs. The deadline is getting closer and I'm really nervous. I think we have put lots of work into the project and I hope it turns out great. Wish us luck! See ya! Hey guys! Christmas is just around the corner and we are all getting into the holiday spirit. We watch Christmas movies, hear Christmas songs, and see Christmas decorations going up on the houses. We all have a favorite Christmas movie. My favorite Christmas movie is "Home Alone". While you have time to think about your favorite Christmas movies I'm gonna tell you why "Home Alone" is my favorite thing to watch during the holidays.
As you know my favorite Christmas movie is "Home Alone" . "Home Alone" is about a family that goes on vacation and forgets their son at home. The son has to act like adult and get the house ready for the holidays. While the family is gone two men try to steal from their house. But the son sets up traps for the two men. The movie has lots of action, and adventure. My favorite sene in the movie is when the two men try to get in to the house but little do they know that the little boy that lives in the house has set traps in the house. The men get hit with irons, step on glass Christmas ornaments, get hit with paint cans, and get a spired thrown on to them. These men go through lots of traps to get to the little boy. The men do so much to get to the little boy. As I said they got hit with things, step on things, and get things thrown at them. They even go out on a rope on to get in to his tree house. No matter what they try they still can't get to him. Even when they get him trapped a man comes up behind the two men, and hit them, and saves the little boy. Once the police are called and the boy safe. His mom and the rest of his family come home and they all have a great Christmas. Now that you know all about my favorite Christmas movie... What's your favorite? Hope you have a merry christas and a happy new year! See ya! Hey guys! As you know we are taking a trip to Florida For STN in the spring. Well that trip is not free! We have to work hard and do lots of fundraisers. We are having a fundraiser this weekend. As you can probably tell it's our CKTV Breakfast. I love doing the fundraisers because they are so much fun, and they help us work to earn our trips. Before the Thanksgiving break everyone in the media class sold breakfast tickets. Well the tickets where turned in and now its time for the breakfast! We are holding the breakfast at CKMS. The breakfast starts at 6:30 but the media class has to be there by 5:30. We even have to go on Saturday to help set up, but I don't mind that just means that we are even closer to earning the money for the trip. We hope to see you at the CKTV Breakfast. See ya!
