Hey guys! So as you may know, we are going to Florida for the Student Television Network competition, and we have been having a few practices over the past few weeks to get ready for March. Well, on Monday we had our fourth practice. We did a few good things, and we did a few things that where not so good. So keep reading and you can learn all about what happened.
So if you are one of the smart people who followed my directions and continued to read I will start off by telling you that we "FINALLY" listened to Mr.M, and used the same format of the IMovie ...I still thought it sort of looked like a short film because we showed a lot of the story, but its ok because it still looked good the shots where good, and Mr.M liked it which is the main thing. I am not to worried because even if Mr.M is a tough critic to please, however he thought it was good, and you know what they say "you are your toughest critic".
Wow hear I am talking about all of this stuff that we did well and didn't do well, and I have not even told you what the topic of the trailer was. Our movie title that we had to base our movie trailer on was "The Worst Vacation Ever". When we heard that title I think for the most part we where all on the same page and we wanted to make the movie trailer a funny comedy. So the story line of the trailer was a group of people go on a vacation to Hawaii (of course), and they expected this perfect vacation, but when they get there they see that there is no tropical hotels, not fresh flowers, and no hula dancers. So we all had our own parts in this like me and Brooke did the make-up on Alaysia to show that she was itchy and allergic to the flowers, and we did the make-up on Ben and Ysabel to make them look really, really sunburned. So Alaysia got allergic to the flowers, I fell in sand and got all sandy, Brooke while attempting to grab a shell got her shoes all wet, and Ben and Ysabel got really badly sunburned.
I though that over all this was the best practice we had, I am really worried that this was our blast practice, but we are still going to learn a lot to make the real thing the best video we ever made.
In all we will keep learning keep working hard and we will keep up our good work to improve our skill, to be ready for STN, I cant wait i am so excited to show the other schools what CKTV can do. As you can tell that this practice has made me so confident in what our team can do and i cant wait to get the chance to show it. So until then wish us luck. See ya!
